After finishing high school, Shantelle attended the University of Victoria graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in political science and history, concentrating on international studies and conflicts. Through UVIC, Shantelle completed her Honours in history, writing a thesis entitled A Historiography of Confessionalism in Lebanon. Wanting to improve her computer skills, Shantelle went on to complete a certificate in Office Administration, graduating on the Dean’s Honour Roll with an 8.6 GPA in April, 2012.
After graduation, Shantelle started working at NKPG Services Ltd, and is currently taking accounting and finance classes parttime through Camosun College to finish the prerequisites to start the CPA program. She also tutors privately through Camosun College on a variety of areas, including administration and business topics, English, and other humanities subjects.
